About the role
We are looking for a “Test and Documentation Specialist” with strong experience in manual and automated testing, who can design meaningful test scenarios and contribute to the reliability of complex systems.
In this role, you will work with an existing API test automation framework, help shape the early stages of UI test automation, and support system quality through functional, integration, and performance testing, while maintaining clear and concise technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for backend APIs and frontend applications.
- Define test scenarios, identifying risk areas and potential failure points from a system-level perspective.
- Maintain and improve API test automation built with TestNG and Rest Assured.
- Contribute to UI test automation using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Execute performance tests using K6 and highlight performance risks.
- Work with automated tests running in CI/CD pipelines and review results via Allure.
- Write and maintain QA and system-related documentation (test cases, test scenarios, API usage notes).
- Collaborate with developers to understand system behavior and communicate test findings clearly.
Requirements
- Strong experience in manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using TestNG and Rest Assured.
- Experience with UI automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to work independently, derive test scenarios from requirements or system behavior, and make sound quality-related decisions.
- Strong communication skills in English.
An Advantage If You Have
- Experience with performance testing using K6.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and scheduled test executions.
- Experience with technical documentation using Confluence or Markdown.
- Familiarity with IAM systems such as Keycloak or OpenFGA.
