About the role
The Business Development Representative role focuses on outbound lead generation across North America, identifying prospects, initiating structured outreach, and qualifying opportunities for the sales pipeline. This is a fully remote position.
This is a high-activity role requiring consistency and discipline, along with the ability to engage mobile product and DevOps teams. It also requires a solid technical background and a willingness to learn technical concepts in depth to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
The role also offers exposure to well-established companies across the Americas, providing opportunities to build relationships with leading organizations and gain experience working with sophisticated technical buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify target accounts and conduct research to support effective outreach.
- Execute targeted, personalized outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Generate and qualify leads, and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team.
- Engage senior technology leaders (e.g., CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors) and technical teams, adapting messaging to each audience.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline hygiene in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies.
- Develop a strong understanding of Appcircle's positioning to support effective conversations.
Required Qualifications
- Technical background (degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and/or relevant experience in the IT domain).
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, concise manner.
- Experience in outbound sales, business development, or SDR/BDR roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-disciplined with a consistent work ethic.
- Positive and resilient mindset, especially in high-volume outreach environments.
- Familiarity with mobile development ecosystems or CI/CD concepts (preferred).

- Consistent generation of qualified meetings and pipeline contribution.
- High activity levels across outreach channels (email, calls, social).
- Clear understanding of customer pain points and ability to map them to Appcircle's modules.
- Continuous improvement in messaging and conversion rates.
